How to remove a cars tail light color using Photoshop Chops Tutorial (CS3)

Today we are going to removing the tail light color off a car. This tutorial is simple but can make a world of difference to your finial product.

Ok the above image in Photoshop or a car of your choice. We are going to be using the polygon lasso tool to select the tail lights.

Follow the out line of the tail light to get a similar selection with the polygon lasso tool.

Now while the light is selected press Ctrl + U and the hue/saturation panel should come up. I have selected saturation - 100 and lightness -48 to give a dark grey look.

Now do that same with the other side of the car and you should have something that looks like the image below. If you wanted to change the color of the light instead of moving the saturation and lightness just move the hue levels and you should get different colors
