I’m going to show you how to lower a car using Photoshop.

I will be using a Cadillac-escalade to demon straight how to do this so copy the one below or use a car photo of your own choice.

 

 

So open up your car image in Photoshop and select the polygon lasso tool. We are going to be selecting the top half of the car. Follow the image below remember to select around the body work.

 

Once you have selected the car and the top half of the image. Then go ahead and press Ctrl + c and then Ctrl + v to create a new layer. Now simply press the down arrow key or drag your layer down giving the car a lowered appearance.

 

 

 

 

 

 

So now we have lowed the car, depending on how far you lower it will determine weather or not you have to do this next step. Look closely and you will see the body of the car now goes over the wheel and the image shows the old image be hind it (shown by the line up the top).

 

So to fix this we need to hide our lowered layer and select the while with the polygon lasso tool. Then delete the over lap off the lowered layer. View the animated image below to get a better under standing.

 

 

Ok now you have done that do the same to the rear wheel and then we will crop the image to get rid off all the left overs. So use the crop tool and select around the car and then hit enter and it will crop.

After you have done that it should all look like this.
