Photoshop Chops Tutorial: Turn a regular lamborghini into a photoshoped police car

 

This is an awesome little tutorial. I was looking around and I could not find anyone who had made a Photoshop tutorial on turning a car into a police car. So here is my tutorial on how to make a police car.

Remember the biggest tip in this tutorial is how to make the white color of the car black yet keeping the car looking real (in photoshop).

 

 

 

 

 

Jump into photoshop and with the polygon lasso tool select around the bonnet of the car and the front bumper

 

Now here is the trick to making the color black still look real. Once selecting the front end of the car Press Ctrl + C then Ctrl + V (copy and past). Then go to the layer panel (located on the right bottom hand side of Photoshop) and set the blend to multiply. Now this will make the color only slightly darker, copy that layer 3 times (you should have 4 front bonnet layers). Now on the 4th layer press Ctrl + U and change the "lightness" to - 30 or what ever you choose. Your car should now have a good looking black front area.

 

Repeat that step on the real of the car.

 

 

Now we are going to have to add a police badge and police lights. So find these images and import them into Photoshop. (in not showing the photoshop steps because this is an advanced tutorial.)

 

 

This is what you should have done with the badge.

 

And here is the finished Lamborghini police car with all the photoshop’in done.
