Photoshop Chops Tutorial: Turn a car into a hover car! (CS3 Recommended)

 

This tutorial is about taking any car you like and Turing it into a hover car by just using Photoshop. So grab an image of a car a jet engine and a nice background image.

Get the clone stamp tool and start getting rid of the wheels.

 

 

Remove all the wheeels like the image below.

 

 

Then with the polygon lasso tool go round the wheel arches.

 

Your Photoshoped car should look something like this now. No wheels and the wheel arches should be black

 

Grab a jet engine like this one and with the polygon lasso tool select just the intake and the blue area. (Reference the image down 2)

 

 

Move your jet engine over the wheel arch.

 

 

Go to menu Edit>>Transform>>Sale and move the engine in to alignment to what your happy with.

 

 

In Photoshop Go to menu Edit>>Transform>>Warp and warp the engine into place.

 

 

Remember once you have warped it just clean up the excess edges with the polygon lasso tool.

 

 

Now repeat that set with the rear wheels arch. You will notice that I have changed the color of the jet engine. Select your jet engine (if it is a different color) and then press Ctrl + U and change the hue of the engine till it matches your color.

 

 

Now you photshoped image should look like this. Again with the polygon lasso tool go around the car and put your car on a nice background image like mine below.
