I’m going to show you how to make a car into a "cartoon" car. This tutorial is for advanced Photoshop users. So get an image or use the one below.

Original Tutorial Image

With your rectangular marquee toolrectangular marquee tool select a wheel then press Ctrl + C then Ctrl + v that will give one wheel a new layer do the same the other wheel (look to image below) . (You should have 3 layer you car and two wheels).

Select Image Photoshop Tool

Once you have make new layers of the wheels click on, one of your wheel layers and go to Edit>>Transform>>Scale and set the width and height to 125% (making the wheel larger) do this for the other wheel. Your car should look like the image below.

Once you have enlarged the wheels selected the layer the car is on and go to menu Edit>>Transform>>Scale. Make the cars width 80% but leave the height the same.

Scale Photoshop Tool

Once that is done you have to select around the wheel where you feel the car wheels will merge well and delete the excess. Do so with the other wheel.

Cut photoshop Tool

Your car should be taking shape now how ever there is still a bunch of left over pieces and final nips and tucks to do. The easiest way to complete the final transformation is to use the smudge tool. But before you use it you must flatten your image go to menu Layers>>Flatten Image. Then use the smudge tool to work the rest of the image into the car.

After I flatten the image I used the Smudge Toolsmudge and Clone Stamp Toolclone stamp tool to get rid off the door lines and fix up some of the paint.
