Photoshop Chops Tutorials: How to add Custom Paint work to your car

Custom Paint work for your ride. I will show you how to pimp your ride with custom paint.

So get an image and open photoshop.

With the polygon lasso tool zoom in and go around selecting half the car like the image below.

Once half the car is selected, grab the Elliptical marquee tool and also select Add selection button. Now you should be able to draw circles half over your previse selection so u will get half circles instead of a straight line. (Follow image below)

Once you have make your selection press Ctrl + C then Ctrl + V to copy the selected area to a new layer. Then press Ctrl + U to bring up the Hue/Saturation Panel. Now depending on the color of your car u might what to do the hue differently. (Copy my Hue and Saturation settings below).

Now that's done we have a small problem the lights and badge have changed color. So again making sure u still have the Add selection button pressed selected the unwanted areas with that polygon lasso tool then hit the delete button.

And your done you should have something like this. Remember you can use the same techniques to do all kinds of paint jobs on your car.
