How to Change a cars bonnet color using Photoshop Chops tutorials

This tutorial will show you how to change the color of the bonnet on any car. It’s very simple and will also show you how to change the color of any part of a car.

Get photoshop infront of you and Grab your polygon lasso tool and go around selecting the bonnet like the image below then press Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V (making a new layer with just the bonnet on it).

Still on the bonnet layer press Ctrl + U and that will bring up the Hue selection panel. Change the saturation to -100 and the lightness to -31. (Note: if you changed the lightness to +31 then the bonnet color would be lighter.

And that’s it your done. Remember you can do this to any part of a car, for example the front bumper and so on
