Ok grab the doge tool and start to “rub” it around the bonnet and side of the car like the image below.

Ok Now with the polygon lasso tool select out the front grill of the car.

Use the Warp Tool Edit>>Transform>>Warp and mangle the front grill to make it look like the driver has hit a poll.

Use the Polygon lasso Tool and select the front number plate out.

Again with the warp tool Edit>>Transform>>Warp. Warp the Number plate. like the image below.

Now go ahead and select the bumper bar with the Polygon lasso Tool

Use the Warp Tool again and warp the front bumper bar Edit>>Transform>>Warp.

Now we have to damage the front right head light (head lamp) so select the main image and go to Filter>>Lquifiy. edit the headlight similar to the image below.

Ok now with the Polygon lasso Tool select the front wheel and copy past (Ctrl + C Ctrl + V) then with the Warp Tool warp the wheel so it appears flat.

Select the front car door with the Polygon lasso Tool and then change the hue setting by pressing “Ctrl + u” change the color of the door.

Now do the same to the front bonnet. Make the Bonnet Gray.

Now we are going to take the windows out of the car. So Select the windows out of the car then copy some of the background and past it over where the windows were.

You should get somthing similar to the image below

and thats how your crash and reck a new car, i went ahead and added some scratch marks and some “smoke” shading and i also tilted the cars body down to the ground and added some sparks.

With the polygon lasso tool zoom in and go around selecting half the car like the image below.

Once half the car is selected, grab the Elliptical marquee tool and also select Add selection button. Now you should be able to draw circles half over your previse selection so u will get half circles instead of a straight line. (Follow image below)

Once you have make your selection press Ctrl + C then Ctrl + V to copy the selected area to a new layer. Then press Ctrl + U to bring up the Hue/Saturation Panel. Now depending on the color of your car u might what to do the hue differently. (Copy my Hue and Saturation settings below).

Now that’s done we have a small problem the lights and badge have changed color. So again making sure u still have the Add selection button pressed selected the unwanted areas with that polygon lasso tool then hit the delete button.

And your done you should have something like this. Remember you can use the same techniques to do all kinds of paint jobs on your car.

Today we are going to removing the tail light color off a car. This tutorial is simple but can make a world of difference to your finial product.

Ok the above image in Photoshop or a car of your choice. We are going to be using the polygon lasso tool to select the tail lights.

Follow the out line of the tail light to get a similar selection with the polygon lasso tool.

Now while the light is selected press Ctrl + U and the hue/saturation panel should come up. I have selected saturation - 100 and lightness -48 to give a dark grey look.

Now do that same with the other side of the car and you should have something that looks like the image below. If you wanted to change the color of the light instead of moving the saturation and lightness just move the hue levels and you should get different colors

I’m going to show you how to lower a car using Photoshop. I will be using a Cadillac-escalade to demon straight how to do this so copy the one below or use a car photo of your own choice.

So open up your car image in Photoshop and select the polygon lasso tool. We are going to be selecting the top half of the car. Follow the image below remember to select around the body work.

Once you have selected the car and the top half of the image. Then go ahead and press Ctrl + c and then Ctrl + v to create a new layer. Now simply press the down arrow key or drag your layer down giving the car a lowered appearance.

So now we have lowed the car, depending on how far you lower it will determine weather or not you have to do this next step. Look closely and you will see the body of the car now goes over the wheel and the image shows the old image be hind it (shown by the line up the top).

So to fix this we need to hide our lowered layer and select the while with the polygon lasso tool. Then delete the over lap off the lowered layer. View the animated image below to get a better under standing.

Ok now you have done that do the same to the rear wheel and then we will crop the image to get rid off all the left overs. So use the crop tool and select around the car and then hit enter and it will crop.

After you have done that it should all look like this.

Get your polygon lasso tool and select around the intercooler.

Get the scale tool from menu Edit>> Transform>>Scale and scale the intercooler into place. Remember we will be cutting off the sides of the intercooler (look at bottom image to see final view

Once the intercooler is in place you need to hide the layer and select around the cars intake.

Then in the layers panel unhide the layer with the intercooler over the intake and go to menu Select>>Inverse the press the delete key. And this should make you car look like the intercooler fits..

I’m going to show you how to make a car into a “cartoon” car. This tutorial is for advanced Photoshop users. So get an image or use the one below.

With your rectangular marquee tool select a wheel then press Ctrl + C then Ctrl + v that will give one wheel a new layer do the same the other wheel (look to image below) . (You should have 3 layer you car and two wheels).

Once you have make new layers of the wheels click on, one of your wheel layers and go to Edit>>Transform>>Scale and set the width and height to 125% (making the wheel larger) do this for the other wheel. Your car should look like the image below.

Once you have enlarged the wheels selected the layer the car is on and go to menu Edit>>Transform>>Scale. Make the cars width 80% but leave the height the same.

Once that is done you have to select around the wheel where you feel the car wheels will merge well and delete the excess. Do so with the other wheel.

Your car should be taking shape now how ever there is still a bunch of left over pieces and final nips and tucks to do. The easiest way to complete the final transformation is to use the smudge tool. But before you use it you must flatten your image go to menu Layers>>Flatten Image. Then use the smudge tool to work the rest of the image into the car.

After I flatten the image I used the smudge and clone stamp tool to get rid off the door lines and fix up some of the paint.

Today I am going to show you how to change the color of any car/truck using Photoshop. This is a very simple tutorial and should only take you about ten minutes to complete. The file we will be Photoshop’in today is below you can you any photo you like.

After you have gone around the car with the polygon lasso tool you should have something that looks similar to this.

While the car is still selected press Ctrl + u and the Hue/saturation panel should come up. You can select any Hue you would like but I slide my hue bar all the way to the right to +180 changing the color to blue.
